Can axolotls go on land

Axolotls are aquatic animals, which means they live in water. Unlike frogs and salamanders that can live both in water and on land, axolotls spend their entire lives in water. They have gills that help them breathe underwater, so they do not need to come out onto land.

Axolotls have small legs, but these are used for moving around in the water rather than walking on land. If an axolotl is taken out of the water, it can become stressed and may not survive for long. Therefore, it is very important to keep axolotls in an aquarium or a tank filled with water to keep them healthy and happy.
